And the State of Texas believed so strongly in arresting these two men that they spent untold amount of time and money arguing the case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. Texas felt so determined to treat homosexuals as criminals that, instead of dropping the charges against these men, they actually asked the SCOTUS to agree that it is perfectly okay to arrest two consenting adults in their own home.

What? You never heard of Griswald v. Connecticut?
