The weather has been fairly nice here lately, a little humid, but pleasant.

This is the cop whacking the black kid's head on the car hood, right? No, this is the cop Trying to subdue a black carjacking, crack dealing, prior felon that not only ran from cops and put people at risk, but fought being subdued by striking cops, biting one, and grabbing the testicles of the cop while handcuffed.
Nuff said. The verdict should have been NOT GUILTY across the board.

Well, if you never heard the reason, then maybe you should find out before judging that the officer was out of line.

I never heard that this kid carjacked or sold crack? Source?

he'll end up getting capped somewhere in the neighborhood while on duty. Unlikely...the department canned him when the video tape went public.

"he'll end up getting capped somewhere in the neighborhood while on duty." Since he was fired by the LAPD, it's not likely that he will be spending any time in "the neighborhood."

Quite frankly, I think the cop is lying about the kid grabbing his groin, I think he just roughed that kid up, and then the real scumbag is the second cop who whacked him across the face. BUT! The groin grab COULD be true, therefore, I didn't think there was much chance of getting a conviction.
I gotta blame the DA for bringing this to trial. If they decided not to, there would be some bad feelings and accusations, but big deal, happens all the time. Letting it go to trial opens up all sorts of ill racial feelings on both sides, and just poisons the air. Gee, nice job DA!

I think the officer was way out of line. I never heard the reason for grabbing this minor, who was coming out of a store, because his dad had expired license plates.Find out the facts before you comment. This "child" was fleeing from police after a carjacking!.
This "child" has had almost a half-dozen criminal encounters with police before.
This "child" is a felon.
This "child" fought like an animal when cornered injuring three cops.
This "child" bit, hit, and struggled with cops even until and after he was handcuffed.
This "child" is probably glad people like you exist to blame cops for every SNIP of video that only shows the poor "child".
This "child" was properly dealt with and I hope he remains in jail A LONG TIME.
This "child" committed adult crimes, and should do adult time.
Unfortuantely, this "child" is probably going to be out on the streets right now reoffending. I think the kid was lucky to walk away from the encounter with a full set of teeth.

Again, I am asking for your source. His father was pulled over for expired tags. Was he carjacking his dad?

Where are you getting this idea that the kid was fleeing after a carjacking? Sorry, should clarify. The kid was wanted in connection to a carjacking.
