It's not the first time I've given up a quilt website name. I once owned quiltstore.com -- great name, huh? It was still available because I came to the net earlier than most.

Then a got a call from a charming Texas lady in Austin who was retired and ran a little store called The Quilt Store and she wanted the name for her business.

Quilters being quilters, I didn't have the heart to charge a fellow quilter for the name to use in her retirement business. Check out her site, www.quiltstore.com -- it's just a lovely little texas quiltstore.

I now own quiltpage.com, which I HOPE if someone asks me to give to them I will PLEASE GOD have the courage to say "no, this name I'm keeping!"
