European and American "Liberals" are determined to destroy Western Civilization. So virulent is their hatred of it that they would readily replace it with anything--including Islam.

It is the overt, declared goal of Muslims to establish a worldwide Islamic theocracy with the Koran as the only constitution and the shariah as international law.

"Liberals" and everyone else have been amply warned about this also.

They are succeeding in the West, especially in Western Europe, where the people are paralysed by "Liberal" decadence and unable to protect themselves. Let's hope they come to their senses before it's too late.

Mexico is not Saudi Arabia. And Hispanic culture has been part of the American Southwest, including Texas and California since the get-go. Um, let's see: they're also Christian. Don't get so wound up in your own hatred of all immigrants, that you can't see the difference between a culture that wants to come in (legally) to be part of America, and one that comes with the express purpose of destroying it.

Be careful how you use the word "liberal" in a European context. The word means vastly, vastly different things here and there. Try "left wing radical". Fits better. :o)

I strongly agree with you.... I hate to sound like an islam basher, but most of the immigration related troubles are undoubtedly related to people with an islamic cultural background.

That said, there are differences.... For instance Turkish immigrants have tended to adapt and succed more succesfully than their arab and pakistani counterparts..

And to balance the picture out somewhat more.....In Norway the strongest criticisms of the current state of Norways immigration policies and some of the practices in our islamic communities comes from muslims. They are the only ones who can do it without fear of being labeled racist. Unfortunately they often have to live with death threats from some of their more touchy fellow muslims,.

It's what we refer to as "classical liberal"---think Milton Friedman, F.A. Hayek. Both Heritage and Cato fit into this mold. It is pro-capitalist, free market economics.

Please tell me what planet you live on if you believe that the invasion of our southern border by millions of illegals every year is somehow "legal". I don't "hate" (don't you just love that liberal shield word) immigrants in the least. If I were living in some cesspool like Mexico or Guatemala, I would also be trying to come to Gringo land and take someones job, and get free bilingual education, and have my wife deliver our fifth child at the local hospital paid for by a bunch of idiot taxpayers. I don't hate them for trying to better themselves. I do hate stupid Americans who can't see this as a threat to their Western based culture, but who can somehow read an article about Sweden and get all worked up about the exact same thing happening there.

I was referring to legal immigration. Perhaps you are unaware that there is a great deal of legal immigration from Mexico? In any case, I'd rather welcome an illegal immigrant from Mexico than a legal Islamofascist anyday.

This is precisely the point. Mexican immigrants are not preaching hate from the pulpit. They are not terrorists. They are not blowing people up. They are not wearing headscarves or burqas. And, for Pete's sake, theirs IS Western culture. They are Christians, or are you one of those evangelicals who is so anti-Catholic that you don't think Catholicism counts as Christian?

I won't even go into the economics of job creation (hint: jobs are not a finite pie to be cut infinitesimally smaller every time a person is employed. This is why the 35 hour work week concept in Europe did not "create" jobs as they thought it would), but get rid of the welfare state, and the other "problems" disappear. Bilingual education ought to be abolished. It's stupid and it has been empirically proven not to work. Healthcare at taxpayer expense? Abolish it. But Hispanic culture (hint: root word? SPAIN. You know, country in Western Europe?) is not a threat to Western-based culture, because it IS Western culture. Sheesh.

The first time Muslims threatened to conquer Spain and Europe, they came as an army with swords. They were eventually pushed back and defeated. Europe retained the identity it cherished. But the Ant has been busy while the Grasshopper plays. They have read about our welfare, immigration policies, culture, educational system. They promote open press - ours!, and immigrate to our western societies, take our assistance, learn about our culture, it's strengths and weaknesses. For many, they assimilate and love their new countries. But others just use everything they've gotten from us against us. How easy the second revolution has been so far. Muslims who come to western countries for their own safety or for a better life know better than to tell of these kind, which some of us have figured out now, for they are in danger as infidels as well. When, if that's possible, they write of the defeat (still preventable?) of the western cultures in the years to come, they will make the analogy of the first and second revolutions, and how easy the second was and why it succeeded, much like "The Art of War" is still in circulation today. Sad. Some of us do hear the violins, and aren't blinded by the big party, like the Romans, or the Jews who fled before the Holocaust, but we aren't the majority, at least not yet. To where will we flee, if necessary?
