Drudge had a siren up, but when I "refreshed" it was gone. Looks like he's working on story.

This would be a fitting end for the liberal media, since the left seem to be self-destructing by the day. I think the liberals have failed to convince ordinary Americans that they are to dumb to listen to anyone but them.

This is the nascent Mainstream Media Shenanigans ping list. Please freepmail me to be added or dropped.
Please note this will likely become a high-volume list.
Also feel free to ping me if you come across a thread you would think worthy of the ping list. I can't catch them all!

I don't get it...CNN has three programs ranked above all the PMSNBC programs, so what's Drudge's point?

It should be pointed out that those numbers for Fox are also way WAY down.
But in any case, if even a single MSNBC primetime program ends up beating a single CNN program in the same time slot for just one night, people at CNN will be jumping out of windows. The damage to their egos, psyches, arrogance and newsroom culture will be enormous.

I just got a card the other day in the mail requesting us to be a Nielsen Family. You can bet that I'll have three TV's turned on to FOX NEWS the whole time. (Except maybe not during Pat Sajak)

I don't get it...CNN has three programs ranked above all the PMSNBC programs, so what's Drudge's point? It's never been this close, that's the point. Fox has been kicking CNN's butt for years, but CNN has remained solidly in second place, with MSNBC waaaay back in the rear. Now all of a sudden MSNBC is within a tenth of a rating point from beating some CNN programs. That is unprecedented in TV news history.
I should point out that the situation does not appear to involve MSNBC's ratings actually getting any better than they've ever been, but rather a total, across-the-board collapse of CNN's ratings.
I wonder why Drudge didn't list CNN's 6 pm or 7 pm shows.

I think that he's saying that MSNBC and CNN are both on the same sinking ship. :-)

MSNBC breaking news coverage is spectacular, even better than FOX.
To: Nick Danger
Olbermann is way too high. A minus 100 would be too high for him.
