I stopped over at lunch time to laugh at the idiotic protestors around the convention center. There were maybe 40 (of course it'll be in the press that 1,000 or more showed up to protest). Of course, not all of them were 'Bush' haters - seen some carrying "No Justice, No Peace - Johnny Gammage", your typical anarchists (I had to keep my hands in my pockets not throttling the imbecile kid running around with the American flag upside down and an anarchy symbol spray painted on it - the punk was smart enough to stay away from the construction workers, and even wore a bandanna to hide his identity).

It was worth a good laugh to see them all going nuts at our CIC being here in the 'burgh. Wish I would've known sooner -I could have made a Freep rally of the losers.

Oh - and why did half the protestors look like hippies, complete with scraggly beards, hair, 60's style dirty clothes? The other half were your punks, anarchists, gay block, etc. Gotta love the dregs of society.
