My friend just called me 10 minutes ago. There is something going on the city. They've evacuated couple of blocks??? I can't find anything online. Anybody?

Probably just Bloomberg testing out his Mayoral powers again, just for the hell of it, or to impress some friend of his.
Perhaps they are having a outdoor concert and Bloomberg is clearing the area early so they can set up the wine booths.
