Miami, FL, July 29, 2003 (IP)... The law firm of Greedy, Malicious, and Vain has announced a $ 200 million suit against Ford Motor Company for the death of 86-year-old Evelynne Eliasson-Rabus, of Davie, FL. Evelynne Eliasson-Rabus, of Davie, thought she had put the car in park Saturday night as she was washing her car in her driveway, police said. I bet she was also one of those Floriduh voters who thought they'd voted for Al Gore when they cast a vote for Pat Buchanan.

Newer cars won't let you take the key out of the ignition unless the car is in park. I just bought a Dodge Dakota that is like that.
I had an old Aerostar that I once forgot to put in park. I hopped out and locked the door behind me. It started to roll and I ran behind it and stopped it. Nobody heard me yelling, so I threw my purse behind the rear wheel to block it (after retrieving my keys). That held it so I could get it un-locked and into park. How embarrassing. I was only about 30 at the time.
This lady made an honest mistake and it cost her her life!
