Can you imagine the conversations between Hope and Strom? Two of the most amazing people of the last century have left the stage within a very short time. I don't know if they ever met but I believe each greatly admired the other.

Hope was one of those guys like Burns and Benney you never heard anything negative about, because there wasn't anything really negitive about them. They seemed above the rest of Hollywood.

A great film...
I can remember watching all the Bob Hope specials on TV with my Grandparents. They never missed Hope on TV, and I thank them (may they rest in peace) for introducing me to such a classic American.

While in the marching band at Ohio State during the late 70s and early 80s, I had the chance to meet Mr. Hope twice. I also have a picture of myself at the bottom of the little 'o' in "Script Ohio" with Bob Hope in the background dotting the 'i'. He was one of only a handfull of non OSU sousaphone players to "dot the i". By the way, he was protected like he was the POTUS.
