Im all fairness, she's quite an attractive woman - but she was dubbed "The Money Honey" by a bunch of balding, fat, middle-aged Wall Streeters. It should be noted that the ORIGINAL "Money Honey," back in the mid-80s, was none other than CNBC's own Consuelo Mack, who is the very definition of "hasn't aged well."
If I were a financial news anchor, I wouldn't want the title. It's cursed.

She's too pretty to be guilty. That is my learned opinion. I agree!

This is the nascent Mainstream Media Shenanigans ping list. Please freepmail me to be added or dropped.
Please note this will likely become a high-volume list.
Also feel free to ping me if you come across a thread you would think worthy of the ping list. I can't catch them all!

A sad puppy. She needs some petting. Not by me, of course.

Okay, men. What is it about her that you would let her get away with anything illegal? Is it the eyes? ;0p

She's merely a fantasy trophy wife, who's able to discuss trade deficits and capital gains tax cuts while fooling around - their perfect woman.
"They" have low standards...If I wanted a trophy wife, I would select a blond, 12 years younger than myself, with a beautiful face and a perfect, turned-up nose. Maria is far too average looking for me.

Maria started out looking really good but lately she looks as tho she needs a bath and fresh change of outfits.
I wonder if 9/11 rocked her to the core..........she was on the air covered in ash from the Towers........

Here's a television fantasy who I'd let give me bad advice about stocks as long as he did it in person.

I wonder if 9/11 rocked her to the core..........she was on the air covered in ash from the Towers........I think what rocked her to the core was the collapse of her rich hubby's financial magazine empire, if you can call the barely-noticed Institutional Investor an "empire."
Of course, even that was all his Daddy's money, IIRC...

You are probably right. Most people's faces look round and blobby on television. It takes a really angular face to come out ok. Looks great on TV, but in real life you could do yourslef a serious injury on the jagged edges.
To: Xenalyte
She isn't nearly as hot as she's alleged to be. Nope. She's decent in person, but photographs very well. When in a crowd on Wall St. she is not the first or even the second to catch your eye. The only reason I noticed her is that she is the one with the camera following her.

Maria is adorable and smart but she picked a bad husband in my opinion. My husband adores her.

Like I said, she's O.K. I guess it may have been at the time she came on the scene, I worked with a bunch of Italian princesses from Brooklyn, and the last thing I needed was to see or hear from another one. I'm not sure she is either one, but she sure fit the mold. ;-)

You have that pegged 100%. I was wondering exactly what you were talking about until I scrolled right to see the rest of the picture.
