It was just a show for the cameras and for use in reelection posters. This isn't Taiwan where they have SERIOUS fights.

If you look at the faces you can see that even some of the participants are grinning.

I am not familiar with politics over there. I thought it was serious and that people were grinning with astonishment. Is it customary there to pose in stupid photographs??
