I have been thinking (dangerous, I know) is it possible allot of the people who voice opposition to PFC Lynch recieving the Bronze Star are former vets who may have done as much, if not more, than she did, and they got nothing? I think that almost all (if not every one of them) of the 'Nam vets got screwed one way or another. I guess I could see how someone could feel slighted again to see how someone who (according to what is written in this current report) may have done less is recieving more. Just thinking aloud. I sure would like to know what part of the ordeal PFC Lynch went thru that the military based their decision on. But, I still think the Bronze is applicable here, and should have been awarded to many, many more in the past. Just my opinion.

she did NOTHING to warrent the Bronze Star but not because she is not a brave American but because she was near death from the accident caused by the chaos of combat. Purple Heart and POW medals? Damn right she deserves them! Bronze Star?
