So add me to your boycott list.Very well. From now on, I will never watch a movie you star in.
Unless you're good in it.
Or I get to see it for free.
Or for reduced price.
Or if the movie theater is convenient.
Or it is too warm outside.
Or too cold.

So he is just no darn good in your opinion?Yes, he is just no darn good in my opinion.
GOSH, I would still die for my Country if it would insure Mr. Depp the freedom to choose his direction in life.
Here's a razor and some chewable aspirin. Get busy.
Are you listening Mr.lazmataz?
Nag.

I don't cosider myself chaste. I do, however, choose the people I associate with. And, no I would not associate myself with Keith Richards. He presents very little in the way of interest to me.
Just to think of a party with Mr. Richards and just walk out when everyone else is wasted in the wee hours of the morning.
I don't watch any of those reality shows either. I have my own life to live. I don't feel the need to watch others degrade themselves to make me feel better about myself.

...but man, HE CAN ACT.So? What does that add to society as a whole? I do not hold actors to a very high esteem. In fact, I feel sorry for those that do. Life is not acting. He may be entertaining but that's as high as he, or any other actor gets as far as I am concerned.

Lighten up, the only reason he is in the news is because he is an ACTOR. right? I was just responding to the idea that he is not a good one. And he is and where he wants to live is his business.

"This is the moron you idolize? : "I don't even have a mental picture of the houses we lived in because there were so many..." Gee, me too. We moved everywhere growing up.
"I was bored with high school, so I dropped out... literally locked myself in a room and played guitar..." Wow, me too. Got my BA though eventually, doing pretty well these days.
"trashed a $1,200-a-night hotel room..." Hmmm... punch holes in a wall when I was a teenager.
"...be really sweet to a girl and bring her flowers ... but still take a pee in the alley... Golly, done these things too.
About the only thing I haven't done that he relayed in his interview, is cut my arms.
I guess maybe I'm a moron too. Though I think I'm pretty much past all of these things, I had a pretty rough time of it growing up. I absolutely adore my wife and 3 kids and the life we have. Hope I'm not branded for life. Maybe Depp will grow up a little later than I did, maybe never, but at least he's not out beating people up. Can't blame him for wanting to get away, and he chooses France. So what? For all their idiotic ungrateful blather the French did help us win this Country way back when. And they offer up some pretty good wines and cheeses to boot. But never mind all that.
I don't mind Depp so much. Do admire his talent, enjoy some (not all) of his movies; respect the fact he does what he says he'll do.

"He's brilliant and has an incredible gift. That sometime's makes people see the world in a way most of us could never."
Where did you come up this line? Geez, brilliant people are allowed to make millions of AMERICAN dollars but turn around and bad mouth the country, and this makes them brilliant? Maybe you have a point there, or maybe Johnny Depp is just an a$$hole.

I live in such a small town we have only one stop light and that is one of those flashing ones. gee. I live in a big city next to your town. we have a full fledged light that turns red yellow and green..one whole traffic light...
Of course, Depp might not like our town... we have a huge US flag (battleship sized) in our park-- you can see it a mile away. The town paid for it after 911...then we had a local windstorm that ripped the flag, so we held a fundraiser and bought another identical flag to replace it...

You can have any lifestyle you want if brave men protect you... How often rude and forgetful the protected are to the courageous whose service sustains them.

One idiot leaves and Peter Jennings becomes a citizen!
I'm so confused!

Arrgghh. I think I need a vacation from you tight-butt types. Of course I think he should marry her, but calling someone looney-tune for not marrying her.......YeGads......Sometimes it's like being in the basement of a church with a hundred of the SNL "church ladies."

In building demolition terms, I'll bet he doesn't know what a 'scissor cut' is!
That was the dumbest movie I've ever seen!
Hollywoodland!
Didn't they used to make movies there?
To: rockfish59
Well, that's one I didn't see...but we started calling my mother-in-law "[Her Name] Asbestos-Hands" because of it, because she's in her eighties and still hand-washes dishes in scalding hot water that no one else can stand to touch. So I actually got something out of it. : )
To: DaughterOfAnIwoJimaVet
My sisters hot water is the same way.
I always told her she should turn the water heater down to save energy.
It feels 'nuclear' to me! =^)
To: westgirl123
Yeah, Johnny, and they also had no central heating, no central air conditioning, and outhouses...
What an idiot this guy is.
To: westgirl123
Call me crazy but I'm pretty certain I went to the market and bought some fruits and veggies here in the good old USA yesterday!

I am sorry you think so lowly of yourself.
Do you still do these things as he does?
Or didn't you notice that distinction?

Why not follow your own advice?? No one suggests anything but that his retreat from this country is good. His income can come from some other place.
