Watching sports is what we do when we want to forget about politics. To Limbaugh, everything is partisanDon't hold your breath waiting for RUSH to weave politics into his sports commentary. It won't happen and you'll get Blue real quick.

Rush was in the sales office when he worked for the Royals.

Apparently the idiot hasn't heard Rush's shows when he annoys his audience who are there for political substance and get sports commentary, which he is actually quite good at.
Gotta love the irony when some dumbass liberal whose words are oozing with hatred calls the target of their vitriol mean-spirited.

Maybe you didnt know that Rush , before what he is doing now was involved in sports. This is not a new thing to him. The crybabies griping before he is even on remind me of Garofalo: "we're doomed, we are DOOMED!!!"

I love Rush, but I think it would be distracting to a sport that I dearly love and to a TV show that for years I avoided because of Howard Cossel's mouth and Frank Gifford's pathetic ramblings. I don't need color commentators or Dennis Miller's smarminess. I provide my own color commentatry.

Your analysis and opinion is mirrored by my own. Less conversation, more action is better. All there needs be, is an announcer, don't even need a color guy if the game is good. I would rather listen to the radio coverage, with the sound off on the tv anyway.

Rush on ESPN is a win-win situation. ESPN will get more viewers because of Rush, and Rush will probably gain listeners who will see him on ESPN.

"Color Commentary" LOL. I dont usually watch ESPN pre-game. I watch the one with Bradshaw and Howie Long etc. With Rush on ESPN sports, I will go over and check it out as I love Rush and will be curious on how he will do. Maybe this is what ESPN is counting on, picking up new viewers. Rush is too smart to blow this with heavy politics but he does have a great sense of humor and may throw in a goodie now and then.
