If your cholesterol is the good kind, you probably don't need to worry. My husband and I are doing Atkins. He has high cholesterol to begin with so instead of regular eggs, I'm using Egg Beaters for him. They have no cholesterol. We're also eating leaner meats, rather than a lot of beef. But no sugar or flour products at all.

Your body produces cholesterol whether you ingest it or not.
If you follow Atkins by using regular eggs and regular hamburger his bad cholesterol will likely drop significantly while the ratio of good to bad will improve. It doesn't sound logical because weve heard for years the wide spread propaganda that animal fat causes numerous health problems. Slowly the evidence is proving these long held assumptions wrong.
Diabetes is a good example of the result

I really think you need to reconsider eggs and meat.
