The DA had to know about this.

Why is that? Prosecutors never make mistakes?

My gut feeling is that this DA had better have very clear and convincing physical evidence or his case is lost, regardless of what actually went on in that room.

This doesn't take to much insight or gut feelings. He is going to have Dream Team 2 representing him and chances are that if he raped her even with strong evidence, he will walk. I seen enough of the William Kennedy Smith trail to know that the rich and the famous have the deck stacked in their favor. OMG the evidence was stacked higher than the Sears Tower against Kennedy and he won.

For instance, the judge excluded sworn testimony by three other women who said Smith assaulted them in the 1980s, including one who said Smith raped her when she was drunk. The jury dismissed the woman's bruises as injuries sustained elsewhere. Everyone, but the jury knew he was guilty.
