I was surprised how quickly those stations I watch dropped this story. And I've see nothing about the family of Davis though perhaps I just happened to miss those news reports. Usually a wife or parents are mentioned.

I also read somewhere the Askew's lover indicated Davis had paid Askew $45,000 to stay out of the primary. Any info whether this is correct?
