Just to be fair, what was the reaction of most Repubs to the strike: positive, or negative?

I know sometimes we said Clinton was "wagging the dog." I just was curious if many did in this case or not. If so, the Dems could just respond that we didn't believe Clinton when he did it, so why should they believe Bush?

Of course, if the GOP reaction was mostly positive, then we got something to hit the Dems over the head with.
