Couldn't they have posed them a little more creatively? I'm sure that there must be at least two pikes somewhere in the Army's possession.

I like that idea, but I have some other suggestions. How about posing the stiffs with a nice slice of ham stuffed down their mouths? Or have them "pose" with 101st Airborne t-shirts on them? Maybe paint on smiley faces on them? When they're done with their "photo ops", make a video of their of their bodies being shoved into their own plastic shredders. Finish up with a scene of someone feeding pigs from something out of a plastic bag. It wouldn't have to be them, but the message would be clear enough.

I've had this feeling that Saddam was wasted a long time ago, but now I hope he's alive, in hiding, and sickly, somewhere. He can now watch all this stuff and get a feeling of what he put hundreds of thousands of his own people through.

This week is shaping up to be the most enjoyable since the Third ID's "thunder runs" through Baghdad. I sure wish I had a video of that.
