This person couldn't understand why Israel had troops in the West Bank despite years of suicide bombings.
This person wouldn't undestand why Israel would destroy homes of terrorist's families or the terrorist bomb making facilites.
This person couldn't understand why Israel made strategic strikes against Palestinians, as if the targets were just innocent men destroyed for no reason at all.
This person couldn't professed not to understand why there was a need for checkpoints, even after years of suicide bombers.
This person attempted to cast Israel as treating the Palestinians worse than anyone else, completely ignoring Jordan's problems and ractions with and to them.
This person attempted to rewrite the events of 1967, casting Israel as the agressor.
This person attempted to caste Jews circa 1948 as a terrorist group, failing to mention any negative activity by the other side.

Not only could this person not understand Israel's moves here, he cast them as the evil party in each case.

Let's remember something here.  Israel could destroy the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza any time they liked.  Instead of doing so, they have made reasonable efforts to grant autonomy to them.

Israel is not perfect.  It is also nothing near the nemesis this individual seeks to cast it as.  It think it's pretty clear what the mindset is here, and if outing that mindset is offensive to you, I'm not sorry.

I personally understand your wanting the peace process to go forward come hell or high water, but at what risk. The posters here see the risk is huge based on the past history of the Arabs in the region. They are pointing that out, with facts and sources.

You yourself said Israel is occupying them, so why should they give them political rights in a system they are not part of, as you say? The "Palestinians" answer to the Palestinian Authority. Assasinations and buldozing, checkpoints are all in response to terrorism.
