The attacker had a gun. The victim had a gun. The plain clothes cop who shot the attacker had a gun. Seems like damned near everyone in the room had a gun so I guess we know what NY's version of gun control is worth.
In other words, it's not really a gun ban, it's only a gun ban if you don't have political juice. If you do, then it's perfectly OK to have a gun no matter how crazy you are(apparently).
