Outside at a raucous news conference, Jeffrey Davis, the councilman's brother, said repeatedly, "The system killed my brother. The same way it killed Martin Luther King and Malcolm X."

He did not elaborate or answer questions about his brother's personal life, but added: "Who did it? You all did it. Every white racist person did it. Every black racist person did it."

I'm guessing democrat.

I read on one of this afternoon's links that Davis had run on the "Liberal" ticket back in the '90's. (Remember, NY has all sorts of registered party affiliations.)

Notice how the gun grabbers of city hall get to avoid the lines at metal detectors, yet both were armed. This guy was against urban violence, so he likely wants to take away our guns... yet walked past metal detectors with a gun in his sock.
