Great story, the man riding with the broken collarbone right now has cut his overall deficit from the main riders in more than half from 9 minutes to 4.
What an epic 100th tour this has been!

The gap is narrowing from over 5 minutes to about 4:30, but what a marvelous achievement for Hamilton!

Actually, I think the whole yellow thing started as a promotion for a car company and got out of hand..

You can tell where I'm from--I called the color the Basque fans were wearing "blaze orange" on an earlier Tour thread.

Every day something incredible happens, Tyler must think he will be out of the race if he doesnt attack today..at one time he was 3 minutes 45 seconds back out of the overall lead!
Im so glad that the IMAX film crew is getting all of this stuff on tape this year for a movie..

I hope this kid can hold out. He's got serious guts.

Northeast Wisconsin--blaze orange is the color deer hunters wear during gun season.

I hope Hamilton takes this stage. Given his injuries, he's had a gutty performance for this entire Tour.

I believe Tyler had an injury before and rode out a tour of Italy grinding his teeth so badly because of the pain that he had to get them repaired afterwords.

4:10 with 15 kms to go. The peleton is slowly reeling him back in, but he should finish at least 3:30 up...
To: Catspaw
Tyler deserves this win, smart move trying to catch the peleton sleeping the day after a rest and big mountain climb

Northeast Wisconsin--blaze orange is the color deer hunters wear during gun season. Well, yeah. But how does that translate to WI? It's blaze orange all around the country, as far as I know. I hear the term here in VA all the time.

Given what he's done since fracturing his collar bone it wouldn't surprise me.

Is 3:30 enough for Hamilton to take over 3rd?
