What these people don't understand, what Mel Gibson and his ilk don't understand,
is that the literal truth of Jesus' story isn't what animates Christian belief.

So Jesus was just jokin' with that "Ye shall know the truth" thing?

What this writer AND The Jesus Seminar seem to miss is that Christianity seals
the deal for people hearts, souls AND MIND.
