So we went to war because Iraq could, maybe, in the future, sometime, be a threat to us? Bush and his minions sold the war as an immenant threat to us. What was Powell talking about? Keep parsing "grave" and "immenant". I can't count the times Freepers told me to shut up or else a "mushroom" cloud would envelope New York- I guess that was going to happen soon once they dug up the rose bush with a few parts to a centrifuge.

You have yet to post one quote where the words "imminent threat" were used.
It is amazing to me that you refuse to understand that they were working on WMD, and we didn't WANT them to get to the point where they WERE an imminent threat.
I guess you felt that we should have twiddled our thumbs until someone nuked a major city or spread chemical weapons at a public event. That is what they were aiming for.

We went to war for many reasons which you are quite aware of, As you have stated, you are an antiwar pacifist, whop would rather wait for another 9/11 before going after terrorist and their supporters and I thank God we don't have anyone like you defending this nation.
You Sir, are a leftist claiming to be a conservative

So we went to war because Iraq could, maybe, in the future, sometime, be a threat to us? Yes. Here it is straight from the SOTU speech:
Some have said we must not act until the threat is imminent. Since when have terrorists and tyrants announced their intentions, politely putting us on notice before they strike? If this threat is permitted to fully and suddenly emerge, all actions, all words, and all recriminations would come too late. Trusting in the sanity and restraint of Saddam Hussein is not a strategy, and it is not an option.

Bush and his minions sold the war as an immenant threat to us. Don't they yet teach proper English in those Madrassas?
The word, Einstein, is imminent.
