***I remember when a majority of Freepers were opposed to Clinton's Kosovo war as an obvious fraud. But now that a Republican is in the White House and waging an equally dubious war for equally if not more utopion goals (turning Iraq into a western Democracy) a lot of people around here are reduced to Carvillian word parsing defenses of Bush.***

Sheesh!!! You could not be more wrong.
Kosovo was not part of a group of fanatical Muslim extremists who were vowing to destroy America along with other vestages of Western values.
Kosovo was not part of a network of terrorist supporting nations that were hiding elements of Al-Qada, while at the same time attempting to manufacture nucleur bombs, the plague and other biological weapons with which to wipe out Americans.
Kosovo was also not threatening to take over a majority of the world's known oil reserves so it could hold the economic survival of the world hostage.
Is there anything else of major importance Kosovo was not trying to do that Iraq WAS trying to do.
If there was, I'm sure someone will let me know.
