"I don't want him dead. I want to torture him first," said Alaa Hamed...

OK, I know I'm going out on a limb here, but I sense a certain disaffection in his voice...

This is a good thing, right? And Reuters urinates all over the news, by saying "Daddy is still on the loose. How you gonna catch him, hunh? Hunh?"

The remains of the corpses should be put on public display for all people in Baghdad to come by and view. Several good things will come of such a course. First, for once and all, the Iraqis themselves may see the reality of the demise of these two demon seeds, and second, it will send a shock wave message to all the fedayeen Saddam and whatever remnants of the palace Republican Guard that still remain, it will only be a matter of time before we get to you, too. Third, the message won't be wasted on Iran or the Shi'ites either.

Any return to the status quo should be nearly impossible now, despite the hopes and dreams of all those who have assailed President George W. Bush, and indirectly, the United States itself.

If Saddam is alive, and does have access to any WMDs, it might be "Top of the World!" blaze-of-glory time.

There was delight among people in Baghdad as news from Mosul filtered through to the capital

This may be true now, but wait until these folks remember that under Okey and Dokey, they had electricity and running water for an hour or two a day. Then they will all mourn their loss.

In the first Gulf War, we pulled out and allowed Saddam to put his house back in order again. Probably they expected something like the same thing happening again. Hide out for a year or two, America gets tired of the occupation, and Saddam returns to power.

But it won't happen this time. That's one reason why killing his sons is so important. The Iraqi people need to be absolutely convinced that there will be no return to the status quo ante.

I hope they paid the tipster a good round sum of money.

Hell has a special room for these two monsters.

No, they won't be assistants, they'll live the horror of every person they've tortured.

Today is the first day for the rest of their eternity.
