Some people on this thread are too emotionally invested to acknowledge the possibility of their favorite gossip being wrong.

I believe that Kobe did not rape this girl, but I also believe the DA about his knowledge about the girl's past.

Newspapers are entitled to make mistakes and correct the record later.

I do not know if Bryant committed an assault on this girl or not, either. I await dependable evidence and testimony, not gossip.

I took a look at MSNBC and saw part of the report. Hmmmmm, several boys that sound like their pov is similar to some here. It could have happened, but then again, maybe like the girl is being accused of wanting her 15 minutes, maybe these boys are seeking theirs. I have no idea. (Is the girl to remain cloistered and not socialize? I agree, if she was bragging about the encounter it says alot about the merit of her charges. If she was socializing at a party and these boys are exaggerating her demeanor and such that is something else.)

But I do know if some piece of information is reported and it turns out that information was wrong, it is time to concede that point in the interest of truth.
