I'm out now, but I do miss it.

But for a self-collapsing/self-healing lung in high school, I'd probably have
tried for the same gig.
I remember that occassionally there would be TV advertisements on OKC stations
about a tour day for high-school students to come to Ft. Sill to see things "blow up".

Too bad VCRs weren't around then...those commercials would make Democrats/liberals
heads explode spontaneously.

Anyway, a tip of this civilian's hat to the 101st and any other units for their work today...
and an even bigger hurrah if they got Saddam's evil seed.

Yeah.
The videos they showed us during in processing would have made any liberal in existence either crap his knickers or implode.

My hat's off to the guys overseas.

I remember we had a guy in our platoon, he was 4 foot 8 or so, right at the cutoff height.
I was also told he was the shortest man in ALL of field artillery. I was told that at that point, I was the THIRD shortest.
(I stand 5 foot 5. Made for some interesting jokes.)
