It's Birdwatching time again in Bethlehem, PA.
Philadelphia Eagles rookies and selected veterans will report to training camp at Lehigh University Friday and hit the practice fields Saturday and Sunday for workouts at 10:30 a.m. and 3:05 p.m. each day, according to a schedule released by the team Monday.
The remainder of the Eagles will arrive in camp next Monday and the entire preseason roster will begin two-a-day workouts on July 30. Those practices, which are open to the public, are scheduled for 8:45 a.m. and 2:15 or 2:45 p.m. each day the Eagles are at Lehigh University and not traveling to or from preseason exhibition games.
Daily autograph sessions are scheduled for after the morning practices.
Aug. 2 and 5 figure to be the most popular days because quarterback Donovan McNabb is scheduled to sign those days.

Big Blue is going all the way this year. That's why Mitchell and Levens came over to our side. Look on the positive side-at least you guys will have a high draft choice. (Donning flame suit as I hit the post button).

I'll be caravanning the little O_E's up two or three times to get an up-close of the guys plying their trade.

That's why Mitchell and Levens came over to our side.
Brian Mitchell is still productive on special teams coverage assignments and as a safety on punts, but his days as a premier K/P return man are over.
With a healthy Correll Buckhalter, Duce Staley, and Brian Westbrook, there wasn't any room for Levens. You might want to spend a little hand wringing time thinking about the departed right side of your Offensive Line... ;-)

What exactly did Shockey say to that poor little cheesesteak safety laid out on his back blowing snot bubbles through his mask? I didn't quite catch it ;-)

July 21 --
"Training camp draws closer and closer, and with it come the questions the team will have to face at Lehigh University. On the list of 1 to 10, here's the fifth:
It had always started with Hugh Douglas. When discussing the Eagles' pass rush, the foundation of its strength in reaching the quarterback, the conversation always started with Douglas. No more."

I am soooo looking forward to this NFL season. Football is really the only sport I follow closely. It will be especially fun to watch the eagles underachieve in that new stadium of theirs. They will be worse than last year. Giants will stomp them HARD. I can hardly wait.

(Donning my instigator suit)Hey, O&E, you gonna take that from a bunch of Jersey guys ;-)

I'm not sure what Shockey said, but the picture makes it look like he was laying on his stomach at the time. Probably not a whole lot more than Ike Hillard said though... ;-)

LOL - Tampa Bay beat them in their own backyard, in cold weather too!

Outstanding. Touche'-serves me right for taking on someone from Philly. (Of course if I wasn't technologically challenged I would post a pic of Strahan drilling McPanic into the turf).

I'm well practiced from sparing with my Giant Fan brother in law. If I catch him trying to teach my kids to say "Go G MEN!" one more time...

Thanks for the HTML help. Nittany Lion just laid another kill shot on me.
Provided we can keep Collins healthy, this should be a great battle for the NFC East.
Did you guys ever hear Jaworski tell the story when he was in the middle of barking out signals at the line of scrimmage, looked up and saw Carson and LT smiling at him, and forgot what play he was calling? Classic NFC East football-and it's just going to get better, 1)the girlie men Cardinals got thrown out, 2) the Redskins will suck as long as Snyder is in charge 3) we get to beat the snot out of Dallas for at least another two seasons.

Can we take hoagies?
To: MattinNJ
I never heard the Jaworski story, but I'd be lucky if I only forgot a play if I looked up and LT was grinning at me...
I'm living in Virginia now (Redskin country) and it's funny how everyone hates the Cowboys here more than NY or Philly. It seems to be a universal trait among all NFC East teams...
