I think that if we could just get rid of the USA, like some sort of neutron bomb or something, the entire world will once again live in the tranquil peaceful Utopia that existed before 1903.

Worse though, is there are countless other similar ones posted by slashdot members on a regular basis. And attempting to defend them is right under actually posting them yourself.

And you are either an idiot or a liar for trying to pretend that the person making the statement was serious, when it is obvious from reading the entire posting that he was being entirely sarcastic, that he does not believe that the US is a scourge upon the planet and that he does not believe that the world existed in a Utopia before 1903.

Which is it? Are you incredibly dishonest, or are you just unbelievably stupid?
