Because she's making the worst possible allegations, yet sitting behind a veil of media secrecy. To me, this is a sucker-punch tactic.
BTW, I agree Bryant's innocent until proven guilty, but you've already assumed the woman is guilty. That's exactly why her name is public -- people who love Bryant will harrass her to no end.
I don't know anything about Kobe Bryant, nor do I even watch or follow sports.
However, while the media assume that Kobe Bryant is guilty based on an anonymous person's allegation, without presenting any evidence to the public, I find no reason why I should support her.
And by the way, she isn't "innocent until proven guilty", Kobe Bryant is. She is the one making the allegations, and the burden of proof is on her. (While we sit here without even knowing who she is.)
Wrongo. The burden of proof is now on the DA and the State. The woman filed a complaint. The DA filed charges. There's a difference.
Please if she purposefully came out and made public statements then she would be looking for attention and fame. A victim cant win with people like you no matter what they do.

The victim is anonymous to the public not to Bryant or the police. Evidence is presented in court and the court is not the television set.

Thanks to New Media, such accusations can not be made blindly against males any more. As the Founding Fathers intended, the accuser will have to do the accusing in public. The days of the blue dots are over, except for those that willfilly are shielding their eyes.
