I hope the jury is more open minded than many of the persons posting. It always pays to hear the facts before coming to a conclusion that a 19 year old girl is in it for the money and lying or that a basketball superstar is always guilty. What has really been made public?

It has been repeatedly reported that she went off duty at 11 to 11:10. Kobe called his wife at 11:16 for "a few minutes." The girl went to Kobe's room after that - while she was off-duty. Doesn't sound too "hotel-related" to me.

We're both offering media reports. The truth will come out. I don't pretend that Cosby is the end of the matter. Just reporting what she had to say.

I find it interesting that many peope continue to compare this case to OJ and Clinton. In both cases, each had a well known track record indicating propensity towards the type of actions later took place.

OJ was a well know violent street thug in the SF housing projects, and on his way to San Quentin before USC's media machine began grooming him for a Heisman. Ditto too for Clinton, who was a well known womanizer even to his wife.

OTOH, Kobe has a sterling reputation. I'm neither a supporter or detractor. If it comes out that he has a previous history, my entire set of assumptiong go out the window. However, what we do know at this MOMENT is that Kobe has a good rep and the accuser doesn't.

Please if she purposefully came out and made public statements then she would be looking for attention and fame. A victim cant win with people like you no matter what they do.

However, while the media assume that Kobe Bryant is guilty based on an anonymous person's allegation, without presenting any evidence to the public, I find no reason why I should support her.

The victim is anonymous to the public not to Bryant or the police. Evidence is presented in court and the court is not the television set.

I guess so, it worked for him- I think he was accused of taking 2 underaged girls in his limo, and was arrested and charged. Then he paid money to the victims who I supposed they declined to assist the prosecution, and hence how can you have a case if the victim clams up?

I think the public has seen this same story played out time and time again! As much as I despise rapers, I despise all of those women who lied about being raped by a famous rich athlete, only to make huge money! This makes it much more difficult for a real victim of rape to get justice.

I know all of the facts haven't been presented but something really smells foul with this woman's story!

I haven't been able to come up with a list of companies that provide in-room entertainment yet that would allow us to sample what they might have available. But all a reporter would have to do is visit a maid's station or Housekeeping and they'd have the material right there, because they have to keep the room supplied with it.

I heard once that when they filmed "Mr. Ed" they used to put paper in the horse's mouth between his gums and his lips, and I'll swear, I think that is exactly what they did to Koebe for his press conference.
