Not all American women are "man-haters". There are plenty of us out there that are quite normal.

BTW, if you want to paint with a broad brush, two can play this game...maybe thats why I'm in a relationship with a British man....

The author clearly wrote that there are exceptions, but frankly, Madamme, you don't seem like one of them. You are contentious and angry, just like the author said. Regards!

Agreed. When I see the responses to articles like this, I cringe. I know some of this is just joking around, but it pains me to see that most of them are not.

Maybe it is just the company I keep, but the women I know are not selfish b****** but women who are in stable marriages that have had more than their share of ups and downs (mine included). Have I seen marriages where the woman is a nightmare? Sure, and I have seen marriages where the husband is the problem.

My parents divorced when I was 7, and when I was growing up, I didn't want to get married because if my own mom and dad couldn't make it, then how was I supposed to? Then I met my husband and thought 'I'm not my parents, and I can go for the long haul.' I looked around and saw all the marriages that were working...my grandparents (still married after 55 years); my in-laws (34 years); my aunt and uncle (35 years), not to mention all the marriages that were shorter in duration but that had withstood a lot in that time. My husband and I have been through our share of disappointments/setbacks, but the gains have been greater than anything I could have hoped for.

It irritates me that the feminazis got ahold of this country and ruined it for women like me. When I say ruined, I mean that now instead of noticing the good women that want a husband and a home and children that they are willing to stay home and raise, American women are seen as money-grubbing, power-hungry psychos without morals. I'm not trying to claim victim status here because I love my life and wouldn't change a thing. What I mourn for is the loss of innocence, the loss of tradition, and the loss of values that has been foisted upon us by the NOW gang. I am doing something about it though--I am raising our daughter and son to value all those things and teaching them that love is more than what makes you feel good at the moment.

Rant off.

Well, if we're painting broads, is there any other kind to use? Oh, bad. Sorry, kidding.
