I heard the oddest things about prenups. There are lawyers out there who say there isn't a one written that they couldn't break in court.
Was driving cross country several years ago and a radio talk show had Marvin Mitchelson, the famous Lee Marvin/Michelle Triola palimony lawyer on the show. He said that prenups were the only way to go. The host then mentioned that Mitchelson had recently gotten married and asked if he had a prenup. Mitchelson said no. He stated that it all goes to trust of the other person and if you have that trust, you don't need one. Kinda confusing if you ask me.

What lawyer is going to take the wife's case against Mitchelson? All the first-tier divorce lawyers nationwide are probably friends of his, and he probably knows all the tricks of how to shield assets so as to make them untouchable. As a lawyer, he'll tout prenups FOR OTHERS, as writing prenups is a revenue source for lawyers, and as a divorce lawyer who knows all the tricks of getting around them he's probably called upon a lot to write them for big-bucks clients

Nah. I'm 35 and single and have a sucessful biz. My attitude has always been to not lust after money. I have said point blank to women that if I was ever in a crisis situation, I would destroy everything I built, give the woman 1/2 of what's left, and build it again.
I did it once, why couldn't I do it again?
I've yet to meet the woman who handled this revelation well!
