Straight men do all you have listed here; perhaps you haven't met the right straight man yet.

Cramer?
You might want to pick up Trading With The Enemy-Nicholas Maier on the seduction and betrayal on Jim Cramer's Wall Street.
Then tell me he is someone (Cramer & Co.) worth trusting for wall street advice. I blame money managers (his famous hedge fund) right along with Enron, Global Crossing, Worldcom, Adelphia, etc., for manipulating the market for their own personal financial gains and overinflated egos-pushing to beat the street at any costs! He shares in a part of why we are in the mess we are today.

ER is loaded with gay and lesbian inuendo. I was initially attracted to watching it because I liked the Kelly Martin character. I stayed with it, but started getting really ticked off when the female lesbian psychologist started recruiting "Dr. Weaver". It went downhill much faster after that. I'm going to skip it entirely this season. It was the last commercial broadcast program that I was still watching. It is little more than Peyton Place with medically employed characters engaged in multiple gay and lesbian themes. Barf.

Kudlow and Cramer and Louis Rukeyser's Wall Street on CNBC are good shows.I'm sure there are still some programs on commercial TV that are worthy of some attention. Frankly, I have so little "free" time, that spending it watching TV seems a waste.

"I've killed nearly everything (that's) walked or crawled, one time, or another."
"And I'm here to kill you, Little Bill."
Great movie, great Freepname. Eastwood and Hackman at their finest.

I initially thought "Queer Eye" was sort of a cute show.
Was in "Tolerant mode" which is a good thing.
However, the show's premise has worn thin already and worse:
It portends more of the same to come!
One can eat a worm on a dare, but a steady diet???....

Ive heard estimates that 2% 3% choose homosexuality, but who knows? No, you're right. That stat was corrected in a later post. It just seems larger because the gay crowd screams louder, that's all.

Disgusting. I happened to flip by this the other day and for the three minutes I kept it on, there were several references like this. Where are the REAL men that would punch these fairies out for saying something like this to them? That's just it. The women who married these "straight" guys who appear on this show, well....someone's being fooled. And I think it's her.

Oh, Jeez...the last thing I need for my sense of fashion is to be advised by a flannel-shirted, whitewall haircutted, gym teacher-type.

Oh, come on now.
I bet you would look good in some overalls and Doc Martens. :)

But then, a network decides to "cater" to this "minority." Business wise, this doesn't make much sense.
With close to 300 channels nowadays, being able to grab 10% of the population is actually good buisness sense.

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Based on the support htis show is getting from the 'gay' community, it's pretty clear they are comfortable being a laughingstock.

They would scream "vast right wing conspiracy" and make jokes about killing us. What's good for the goose, would not work for the gander...
Try this idea for a show, and tell me how many seconds it would last in a Hollywood pitch session: "A team of five fabulous straight guys teach a masculinity-deprived gay man how to throw a football, hunt for game, drink something manlier than fruity wine coolers and appreciate the fiction of Tom Clancy. When the journey is done, a newly enlightened, ultra-manly man emerges."

Bump and ping.
Scripter will be off line occasionally between now and the middle of September. I've agreed to help him out by running his homosexual agenda ping list.
A simple freepmail is all it takes to subscribe to or unsubscribe from scripter's homosexual agenda ping list. If you wish to be added to the list in scripter's absence, please FReepmail me.

This whole post is a riot! My favorite part:
This can also be seen in the well researched phenomena of the hot chick/fat chick syndrome. Hot chicks often hang out with fat chicks to guarantee a focus on them, not their friends
My buddies and I called The Fox and The Ox relationship. The Fox is afforded all the attention and the Ox is relegated to the role of a pilot fish living of the hosts scraps.

Not talking about the gay population only. I was talking about just grabbing 10% of TV audience. As stated in the article most of that would be hetero females. Actually as far as I can see Brovo is going for the "Left" wing audience. When it's not gay time it's that dreck "West Wing".
