Foolish remark. The threat of assasination to the President is a criminal offense. There is no need for you to hide behind the First Amendment. A portrayal of the President's assasination is of serious concern and the author will likely be given a stern warning.

There is no threat of assassination in that a cartoon! It is an editorial and is protected. The cartoonist will probably tell the secret service to go pound salt. No court in its right mind will see any threat in that cartoon. It just isn't there.
