Frankly, I think that the US should go into Liberia- jump in hard and fast- so that, in the future, when there is some other African crisis, perhaps in a more strategic location, a few words from the President could turn the whole situation around.

Have to agree with you here. We should never put our troops in harms way unless national security is at stake. That is not the issue here. Where is the U.N. on this matter?
