It appears you resent any truth should intrude in the midst of this all-dogs-go-to-heaven thread.

No one even mentioned Bright's strange ECT support. Apparently, he believed in a fellowship with those he knew to be completely separate in doctrine.

Like Billy Graham and other celebrity Christians, Bright changed a lot over the years. They started soundly enough but both strayed from their original mission and their doctrine as they grew older. One can argue they 'matured' or that they apostasized or that they lost their convictions. At any rate, their public beliefs over the course of their lives is so inconsistent that it can only be described as Christian in a very generic way and they haven't upheld any particular doctrine very well. Whatever they have done over the years and the opinions any of us may hold, it is clear that this has been a deliberate and conscious choice on their part.
