The "nice guy" and "play by the rules" sh!t has only got us a kick in the nuts from the left.
'Bout time our side started using the same vicious rhetoric and same below-the-belt tactics the left has been using for thirty years or more.
Problem with this guy, and the rest of the left, is that they don't like it that the conservatives are playing by their rule book, now. They don't like having to play at the level they set. They liked it better when only they got to play dirty.
Too bad for them, but the gloves are off on our side.

Thank you very much! |
That's the nicest thing that anyone's ever done for me. |
It isn't every day |
good fortune comes me way! |
I never thought the future would be fun for me! |
And if I had a bugle |
I would blow it to add a sort |
o' how's your father's touch. |
But since I left me bugle at home |
I simply have to say |
Thank you very, very, very much! |

Not being a big fan of Savage's, I still know enough not to take this guy's word for things. His description of things is a little skewed.
And notice he fails to mention Ann Coulter who can disembowel you verbally and make you like it.

Agreed. The same could be said of the new pro-W Dennis Miller.

Elegant put downs from Conservatives are reserved for elegant and rational opponants not Liberal Hacks and members of hate groups like the DemocRAT party.

The guys in the House did great tonight! Savage is the only one who lost the fine art of the put down, not the Republicans.

. His description of things is a little skewed. Well ya... he's a leftist - it goes with the territory. But Savage is still a loudmouth blowahard that is a piss-poor example of conservative values.
If nothing else, Mikey's "message" is delivered in crass, ignorant prose. He is a parody - a fat pinata for the enemies of truth to bat around.

I like an elegant, refined debate myself. Problem is, it's impossible to employ any kind of finesse when your opponent's debating "technique" consists of shrieking "RACIST-HOMOPHOBE-EARYTH-RAPER-NAZI-HITLER-BABY-KILLER" repeatedly at the the top of their lungs.

The fine art of the elegant put down is lost on the masses. It only impresses one's peers. There is room for all of us under the Conservative umbrella. To put down one's compadres is ridiculous.

Sometimes you cajole the enemy with intellectualisms, sometime you sneak up and smash the foe on the back of the head with a tire iron.
Keeps the enemy off balance.

And when your opponent is as intellectually stunted as the modern Democrat, you pretty much have to resort to the equivalent of swatting your two-year-old across the butt when he/she is up to no good.
It's not real elegant, but it usually manages to get your point across.
