I vouch for the veracity of every quote in this article. All quotes come from actual sources and all accounts are true to the best of my knowledge and reported as such.

Great catch. Too bad he didn't have to go through the same procedures to get care as an ordinary Scot would.
How did you come up with the story?

Very interesting. What symptoms could have required the use of a top Glasgow consultant, that the prison consultant couldn't have handled?
Did your source give you a description of symptoms?

Did your source give you a description of symptoms? Yes, but they said it off the record and did not want to violate the patient's rights. Suffice it to say, it has to do with more with the way the NHS system is set up than anything else.

Hey, if the UK Sun can do it- I can do it! ;-)

Nice work, PS! Very nice writing. Thanks for putting it up here first.
Are you going to publish it somewhere?
(Other than here, the center of the universe, that is.)

Nice report. Kudos to you. I would suspect they used the chem room (or whatever term that's proper) because it afforded the most security. One never knows the exact extent of the medical related problem. They had to be sure it wasn't a coordinated effort, thus the tactical team and it's full-blown procedures.

...and it should be in breaking news, for all to see!
Howlin, an FR exclusive! Can you do your ping thing?

How did you come up with the story? Well, I've got my sources in the hospital there. A hospital is a great place to get info ;-)

So, this guy gets sick and Dr. Kelly dies on the same day ~ maybe from the same cause. Does ricin have an antidote?
Mandela's name keeps popping up whenever anyone mentions "African Uranium". Interesting that he had such a personal interest in the care and well-being of Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi, even visting him in June 2002.
Makes me wonder if investigators are getting entirely too close, eh?!
Uhhh, does Mandela do contract hits or what?

Are you going to publish it somewhere? Well, if someone were willing to pay me for that sort of thing I would be all ears. If someone would be willing to place the story in publication in exchange for an open ear in the future- I'm also listening. Failing that- I consider Free Republic to be one of the best places to look for news in the entire world. I posted it here simply because I wanted people to know- that's all. The info is what's important in the long run.

Looks like someone at Ananova read your post and called the hospital for confirmation. Maybe the US media will pick it up too.
