That would be a bombshell that favors Kobe.
The way this is going, not only is the accuser going to further destroy her own reputation, but she now has no chance of collecting in a civil suit and I think the DA who filed this will have a very short career as the DA.

She has a recent record of being mental to the point of attempting to kill herself. This is too easy. Two words: easy pickings...

I think Libertarian when I heard she almost killed herself with a drug over-dose. And that is because why? Look, anyone with any intact brain cells knows that the WOD constists of seizing private property, not stopping drugs from getting into this country. It has nothing to do with a distraught 19 yr old. It has everything to do with eroding our rights, whether or not we have illegal drugs. When they use a battering ram on your house and don't find jack shit, it's up to you to spend money you don't have defending yourself.
Are you always a pain in the ass, or is it that time of the month?

I gave the reason in the rest of the last post Spotted.
Libertarians post as being very pro-drug self medicating on many posts, so I thought she could be a practicing Libertarian. That was the source of my connection Spotted.

She did think Kobe was easy picking and if she was not a basket case, she could have successfully sued for millions.

I'm a broken glass Republican(who has voted for others in the past), and I favor dismantiling the WOD, simply because it doesn't work, and gives the government carte blanc with everyone's property. I don't really give a crap who is doing what, as long as they don't do it to me. It's none of my business. Let's relegalize everything, and get it over with.
It still has nothing to do with the Kobe Bryant incident.

I say that the last thing on her mind that night was suing Kobe Bryant. Im talking about her, not her folks. One more thing, quit making fun of people who have personal problems. Aren't you the lucky one that doesn't seem to have any...

She took over the counter sleeping pills BY THE HANDFUL I GUESS!
That is not a stable person who's perception should be allowed to stick Kobe with a felony unless there is a video or direct eye witness to verify her claims.

I wouldn't mind another way of enforcing the breaking of the law if there is a better way. Maybe sending troops to where they grow or make stuff shipped to us.
I would never think legalization is a way to go because it would grow addiction, especially if it is given a social blessing. There would be more misfits in society than now.

If she has mental instability problems, that isn't personal when it affects her decisions and leads to reckless rape charges as with Kobe.

You seem to be making the argument that "no doesn't mean no"... so, you think it means "yes"?

My daddy was 50 years old when I was born, and he gave me a unique perspective on "illegal drugs". Coca Cola had guess what as an added ingredient? COCAINE!!! Banning liquor only served to make the Mafia and Joe Kennedy richer. Who needed booze when you could walk into your neighborhood pharmacy, and pick up some chloral hydrate. Were there any more misfits in society 60 years ago, compared to now? Think Michael Moore, Scott Ritter, and Jane Fonda. Sending in troops, where? Remember paraquat? Don't be an idiot. Addiction? Crissakes, people are whining about being addicted to fast food. You and I will argue to the death on this subject, so be prepared.

You seem to forget that the DA took two weeks to decide whether to press charges against Kobe. He was counseled by DA's across the state before he came to his decision. To me that spells definite proof of sexual assault.
Your turn, Einstein.

Guess what? They took the cocaine out of coke and have heavy regulations on drinking because that was a genie out of the bottle and it was illogical to keep it banned.
Illegal drugs have not been unleashed with approval in our lifetime in Federal like booze was, so we have no reason to add another vice to our society by approving of it and growing addicts and misfits.
Conservatives also have a moral side representing values. Your drug views are in keeping with the immorality of the far left. I don't like it and I think it is a betrayal of our people to support a vice that ruins people.
There is no badge of honor in promoting an evil in the name of the Constitution or in the name of freedom.
As you have said, booze has been unleashed, so I say that is no reason to do so with drugs, pedophilia, murder or doing ANYTHING you feel like in some bent version of freedom.
There needs to be reasoning and balance between law and what is good for our country. We really don't need to enhance addiction in this country. When something seems tough or impossible, we don't give up here in the USA like you would suggest we should with drugs. If we in the USA thought like that we would all be communists today.
