I couldn't get away to listen, but Keith Olbermann was going on and on about some story involving Canada, Drudge, homosexuality, and the Bush White House.
Did anyone catch the details?

Oh gee,,does it have anything to do with "yellowcake" which may be a code word for some perversion if you ask me. If it takes the spotlight off the 16 words I will be eternally grateful even if the little pervs were doing it in the white house commissary.

Did anyone catch the details? No. But did you hear the one about the Rabbi, the Priest, the Minister and the Imam in a lifeboat?

Could it have anything to do with Stephanopoulos being a "journalistic leader for the next 30 years"?
My guess: He will be off the air w/i 6 months.

Keith was probably smoking some mushrooms during the commercial break.

Considering how much Keith Olbermann slanted the story last night about the guy questioned by the FBI for "reading" (to the point where it became a total falsehood), my guess is the story, whatever it is, doesn't exist outside the confines of Olbermann's mind.

Keith Olberman is a pompous Pr!(%. I wouldn't watch his show if he was giving out winning lottery numbers before the drawing.

keith olbermann is the most pompous dispicable fiend out there. I will never forgive him for saying Judge Starr looks like heinrich himmler on his program. When a guest asked if he had a point with that, he said no. What a 2 bit jerk. I bet he pays msnbc to stay on the air, watching him is more painful than watching the sanctimonious jerk chris "I worked for somebody!" matthews. Disgusting.

Unless "White House operatives" are named, I'm not buying it. Either Drudge already knew this and is making mischief, or someone called him and purported to be from the White House.
The guy being gay and Canadian has nothing to do with the story. Sounds more like both ABC and Drudge are working to agitate the gay community.

KO is a first class prick. The first time I saw his new show he was interviewing a black woman representing some organization of black journalists. The subject was the Time-Blair story and Keith made the statement that only the most ignorant, bigoted people on the extreme right could possibly think that race had anything to do with the story. This only minutes after MSNBC had run a clip where Blair had said race was a factor and Raines had also said much the same. Though I found it funny, I don't think he was trying to be funny. Haven't watched his show since.

I don't get it. This guy's sexual preference is hardly news. World Net Daily reported on it three years ago. Click

That sort of makes my point. White House operatives wouldn't call Drudge with such a ham-handed attack. That is not the White House's style at all.
I don't believe it, plain and simple.

The politically correct savaging continues.

Yes, that was the story. The guest was Lloyd Grove.
Olberman was asking hopefully if this "had legs".
They did manage to get in the WH DENIES this. I am sick to death of unnamed sources.
It's too bad. I despise Olberman's smarmy ways, but he has a very good show when he's not talking politics. He has a great "on this day in history" montage everyday that is very well done and includes truly historic along with quirky stuff. But politically he's a vicious jerk.

Even a DUnce could come up with a better name for "seperated at birth" than that.
Lay off the booze, Keith.

White House operatives wouldn't call Drudge with such a ham-handed attack. That is not the White House's style at all. Very true judging from how the Bush administration has tried to move beyond investigating the Clinton legacy.
The media remembers how they got talking points from the DNC every day and how the Clinton White House website trashed the preceeding administrations.
They must honestly believe that even though they no longer receive such notices under the table that they are still circulating to "friendly" journalists.
