I actually like West Virginia (currently correctly spelled "Byrd-ginia") a lot, and would love to own some land there. But, since the West Virginia jokes will be starting any minute, let me get mine in first.

My brother and I wrote a little song once:

Almost human, West Virginia,
Sloping foreheads, weak receding chins
Thoughts go slow there, slow as molass-ees
Denser than a mountain, dumber than a tree

I believe there may have been some alcohol involved.

I like WV too. Beautiful country up there. I go up every year, the first weekend of Oct. for kayaking the New and Gauley Rivers. And my joke is:
