You are hated and despised by your government. Don't you get it? The point and purpose of raising "minimum wage" is to force you out of the market and entice employers to use illegal aliens.
Many union wages are pegged to minimum wage. When MW is raised so do union wages through some formula. Since illegals aren't on the books, nor do the employers pay social security on these non-employees, they have three major advantages on you: 15% savings on FICA, no unemployement or worker's comp, and the illegal can work for "market wage" not some artificial wage concocted by Washington and the AFL/CIO. And when the US government does all in its power to attract illegal aliens by handing out health, education, food benefits and promises of a life-long pension plan earned through fraud then those forces work to make sure that you don't work.
Looking at typical political laws and policies, I am totally convinced that Clinton "outsourced" all political decisions to Mexico and China at the same time they bumped up the H1s and gave away W88 secrets. Certainly an American would never pull this kinds of legislation - only people who want to see the US be crushed and utterly destroyed.
