If you have any "favorite fears", or you would like to make up your own (as I did with Crustyophobia), please feel free to do so! And check out that web site, you may have some phobias you never realized you had.
(in fact, I admit that I have automatonophobia, fear of ventriloquist's dummies. *shudder* those things creep me out majorly.)

Galiophobia- Fear France or French culture.A person would have to be pretty pathetic to fear the French.

I had a friend who suffered from phteronophobia, fear of being tickled by feathers. her cousins had taunted her with dead chicken heads & feet when she was little. I don't think she knew it had name. As for my phobias, I have rhytiphobia, fear of wrinkles. It lead to mirrolookaphobia, fear of looking into mirrors.

I suppose "Zemmiphobia- Fear of the great mole rat" would also include democRATS.
Some are fearful of their arms hanging over the side of their beds; others are fearful of clowns. There are probably phobia words to describe these two fears as well.
Apparently there are quite a lot of people who are truly frightened of clowns. Wonder why.

Coulrophobia is the fear of clowns.
I guess people are scared of them the same way I'm scared of ventriloquist's dummies. It's just sort of something that happens.
Seeing "the Thing" wouldn't exactly help, either...

I don't know what the name is for the fear of arms hanging over the side of beds.
The clostest thing is Clinophobia, fear of beds or going to bed. But arms, no can do. Sorry. : (
