Capitalism seeks the lowest cost to produce a product, in order to better compete. Corps hire illegals/legal immigrants/h1b's,l1's/outsource jobs overseas/move factories overseas cause it's cheaper.
Gubmint is supposed to enforce a level playing field - it isn't, and probably won't. You would think that gubmint would realize that fewer people employed mean fewer taxes for them to waste, but they don't.
I am not optimistic about the outcome. The only safety net is to start your own biz, not rely on getting jobs from others (imho).

Who is going to frequent your business, buy your products, employ your services, etc? It is a domino effect.
