I know one of TVC's prominent former workers. He was laid off a few months ago because TVC lost 3 $20,000/month supporters. TVC may be hurting for cash. It would be a shame if they would sold their credibility and endorsement to make money. I hope this isn't true. No, I am NOT a big TVC fan, but I hate to see any ostensibly Christian group harm their reputation, and ergo the reputation of Christ.

An organization of this kind can't afford to jeopardize their reputation, no matter how strapped they may be. That's a temporary problem, but a bad reputation is a permanent problem. It certainly sounds as if they've been corrupted by the pharmaceutical corporations.
