My former shyster, who is also a CFI, gave Hamblin his check flight in 2001 and has been to his house, knows his wife, etc. They met at a Harley biker bar in Denver on Parker Road called the Piper Inn. For the latter contact Peter Boyles at KHOW radio in Denver who has detailed the story on his radio program. Name of the woman who was harassed was either Karen Trinidad or Susan Witkin. Boyles told the story, he was in attendance at the party, several years ago. Incident occurred prior to Hamblin being syndicated, which is why he is in syndication and broadcasts from his home. The whole thing never went to court as I believe the authorities never got involved. The woman got a settlement from the radio station and Hamblin got the boot. Some in the local black community tried to raise a stink about KOA being racist when he was canned but that quickly died down when details of why he was fired came out.
