She had a lot of guts to run toward a guy with a gun who was killing people, even if she did know him well.
I'm surprised that LM canned her like they did - it sounds like what she did maybe prevented more people from being killed. The least they could have done was offer her severance.

With lawyers beating the EMTs to the scene you would think LM would know better.

She said company officials talked with her earlier this week about the events leading up to the shooting, then fired her. They said "that was what was best for the company," she said.

It is what's best for the company, in terms of this woman's co-workers.

The stupid sow disrupted a memorial service trying to claim "victim status" for the murderer. How can those people be expected to work with her again? If she can't keep her mouth shut during a funeral, why would she keep her mouth shut in the work environment?

Based on the limited details. I think you are absolutely right about her. Going to a murder victim's service and proclaiming the killer was a victim too is like saying, "Hitler killed millions but he had a bad childhood."

"This man was not planning this shooting,"

Yeah, I always bring my shotgun into the office with a bunch of shells. Just a habit I guess.

In the case of *this* pig, I don't like the way she's clamoring for media attention and upstaging the real victims in this tragedy.

There's something pathological about it, and I'm willing to bet that her bosses have seen a lot more of the same-- and decided she's not worth the trouble.

and decided she's not worth the trouble.

It appears to me her own "victum hood" is what is most important to her.

S.O.P. where I come from. Some fellas would be in the tree stand by 5:00am, bag a buck and be behind their desk by 8:00am.

"Other employees and family members of victims also are expected to discuss possible legal action against the company at a meeting tonight sponsored by the Lauderdale County-Meridian chapter of the NAACP."

Good old naacp, standing there with their hand out. I just jesse or sharpton will be the next one to show up for their cut of the payoff.
